# Techabit

> Techabit is a Portuguese IT company — "making tech a bit easier since 2016" — specializing in IT consultancy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud security. The team brings over 20 years of combined experience in enterprise networking and mission-critical systems, including more than 15 years of active Cisco CCIE certification. Headquartered in Funchal (Madeira), Techabit operates with technicians deployed in Madeira, Porto, Lisbon, and Mafra in mainland Portugal.

Techabit takes a consultative, vendor-agnostic approach to IT. Services span network infrastructure, data center (including physical infrastructure such as secure rooms and HVAC), cybersecurity (XDR, firewalls, security audits, incident response), cloud security, systems administration, IT support, and IoT solutions. Engagements regularly involve heterogeneous multi-vendor environments — integrating and consolidating equipment from different manufacturers within a single operational domain — across Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Huawei, HPE, Dell, F5, and VMware. The team holds senior credentials including Cisco CCIE, CCDE, and CCNP; Palo Alto PCNSE; Fortinet NSE; and PMP and ITIL for delivery and service management.

Systems practice covers Windows Server and Microsoft 365, enterprise Linux distributions, VMware vSphere/ESXi virtualization, and backup platforms including Veeam.
